Primis Imports was founded by Damian Primis, a second generation Greek-American who has always been in search of a way to be closer to the birthplace of his grandfather, the Greek island of Evia. Damian has traveled the globe for his career in the music industry, and throughout these incredible experiences, nothing quite compared to the taste of home he experienced while in Greece. Primis Imports is an extension of this experience, which you can now enjoy in your home as well.
Our debut product, Primis Extra Virgin Olive Oil, is single estate olive oil made with 100% early harvested Koroneiki olives, grown right on the island of Evia. Pressing early harvest produces less oil but retains the antioxidant polyphenols found in extra virgin olive oil that have a multitude of health benefits. Primis Extra Virgin Olive Oil is known for its clean and earthy flavor, and will transform any dish into a memorable one.
Daman Primis was born in Anchorage, Alaska. His upbringing in the Anchorage Greek community had an indelible impact on his life enabling him to maintain a close connection to his Greek roots. From an early age Damian was drawn to music, dance, and education which took him to New York City where he now resides. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Music Performance from The Juilliard School.
