Primis EVOO

No kitchen is complete without a big bottle of extra virgin olive oil — and this one from Primis Imports is sourced from the stunningly lush region of Messenia, Greece. Made with a whole lot of flavor that enhances any dish (Mediterranean inspired or otherwise), the Early Harvest EVOO has a balanced aroma of fresh-cut grass, green banana, apples, and flower, with similarly fresh-tasting notes of bitter arugula, artichoke, basil, and sweet pepper. Primis EVOO

After seeing this olive oil all over my TikTok For You Page, I figured I would see what all the hullabaloo was about. (The fact that Kenji Lopez-Alt uses this brand helped convince me, too.) I fell in love — so much so that I blew through the whole bottle in about two weeks. I find myself using drastically less butter at home since this oil is so rich and delicious. I’m really hoping someone will give me some more of this tasty, grassy Greek olive oil for the holidays. - Landon Moore

Pasteli Michel

I keep getting bags of this Cretan honey brittle to take photos for this piece, and my husband and I keep eating them all before I get around to it…whoops. Needless to say, this stuff is SO good. It comes in two flavors: sesame and pistachio. Both are sweet, crunchy, nutty, and impossible to stop eating. They’re great cracked into bits over some ice cream. I’d love a bag (or two) of this in my stocking, and I’m sure you know someone who would too. - Grace Kelly

EVERYDAY CUVÉE

“I love this extra virgin olive oil for its fresh, bright, grassy flavor. It’s perfect as a finishing oil or for adding a touch of flavor to salad dressings. The peppery-spiced finish is a surprising delight on the palate. Plus, the bottle features a foldable pour spout that pops up when you remove the lid, helping to avoid spills and drips.” — Joe Morales, Senior Commerce Editor

Primis EVOO

I uncorked this bottle and got a whiff of fresh-cut grass. It’s light and peppery on the nose, with a verdant, grassy flavor that’s mellowed out by buttery olive. It has a light, bitter burn on the finish, and is an overall fantastic mix of zippy and smooth. - Grace Kelly

Everyday Cuvée

I knew I’d love this olive oil the second I saw its label. It’s decorated with animated smiling olives wearing boots that make me happy to look at, so I like to keep it on display in my kitchen. What’s inside the bottle also doesn’t disappoint. Primis’ olive oil, which the brand sent me to try, is made from a blend of Mediterranean olives. It’s smooth and a little peppery, making it ideal for cooking over the stovetop or in the oven. My favorite part is its built-in retractable spout. When you screw off the cap, a spout pops up, which makes it easy to measure precise amounts or drizzle it over food. Then, as you screw the cap back on, the spout retracts, folding neatly inside the bottle’s neck. - Zoe Malin
